Yiming Tang (唐一鸣)
Computational physicist working on the intersection of physics and biology.

I am currently an Postdoctoral Researcher at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, where I work with Prof. Guanghong Wei in the Department of Physics on multiscale biomolecular simulations and machine-learning-assisted exploration of biophysical systems. If you are seeking any form of academic cooperation, please fell free to email me at [email protected].

I graduated from Department of PhysicsFudan University with a bachelor’s degree in physics and a doctoral degree in condensed matter physics, advised by Prof. Guanghong Wei. I also collaborate with Ehud Gazit from Tel Aviv University, Jinghui Luo from Paul Scherrer Institute, and Si Wu from Chinese Academy of Sciences closely.

I won the Super Postdoc Incentive Program of Fudan University in 2022 and of Shanghai in 2023, and was funded by a general program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

My current research focuses on the computational studies of the thermodynamic, dynamical, and conformational properties of biomacromolecules with complex free-energy landscapes, particularly intrinsically disordered and aggregation-prone proteins.
